About Dr. Nguyen
Dr.
Phong Nguyen is a board
certified optometrist by the American Board of Optometry and
certified by the California State Board of Optometry for therapeutic glaucoma treatment.
He received his Biological Science degree at Florida International University and graduated
from Inter American University in 2002 as a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Nguyen is currently a member of American Optometric Association,
California Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry.
His Interest
Dr. Nguyen is married and has two daughters he adores.
He is a family guy; he loves to spend time with his family and dedicate the time out of his busy schedule every year for a family vacation. Special interest: excercise, traveling, and
exploring cosmology.

About the practice Dr. Nguyen opened Pacific Optometry in
2006 after establishing himself as a highly reputable optometrist
in the city of Los Angeles. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, dry eye, and a wide variety of eye infections. Pacific Optometry is fully equipped
with state-of-the-art technology to diagnosis diseases
in the front of the eye such as keratoconus and irregular
corneal diseases; and the back of the eye such as diabetic
retinopathy, macular degeneration, and optic nerve degeneration
diseases. Dr. Nguyen co-manages closely with retina specialists
and ophthalmologists for referral of advanced treatments.
Through continuing education, he is up to date with his
certifications and remains informed about the eye care industry;
both clinically and technologically.
